On May 15, Montenegro Tower in Dobra Voda hosted a concert by O’Konrads Band, a folk-rock band formed on the Adriatic coast in 2022. Their sound combines Irish folk, folk-rock, original songs, and the energy of live pub performances. According to the band’s official website, O’Konrads have previously performed in various cities across Montenegro—Budva, Bar, Kotor, Nikšić, Podgorica—as well as at regional festivals in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Today, the band is based in Serbia, working as a full-fledged quartet, and is preparing their first album of original songs for release in 2026.
The concert venue was Montenegro Tower, a unique space in the Pečurice hills, near Dobra Voda and Veliki Pijesak. It’s not just a bar, but a live music bar and coworking space, located in a restored old stone house. The official website describes the venue as a nearly 400-year-old fortified stone house overlooking the Adriatic Sea and Mount Lisinj. It hosts concerts, tastings, film screenings, meetings, and other intimate events.
The O’Konrads Band’s performance fit perfectly with the atmosphere of Montenegro Tower: live music, an open space, sunset views, and an intimate format made the evening a warm and intimate experience for coastal guests and the local community. Montenegro Tower is listed on the band’s official schedule as one of the O’Konrads Band’s May concert venues in Montenegro.
This wasn’t the band’s first performance at Montenegro Tower, nor in Bar. Starlight couldn’t miss this event. As always, the evening was a blast, with everyone dancing!
