On October 5, 2024, our group of nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts embarked on an incredible journey from Ulcinj to Velika Plaža. This day turned out to be a true celebration – perfect autumn weather, a friendly atmosphere, and breathtaking views accompanied us every step of the way.
Starting Point – Ulcinj
We began our route in the historic town of Ulcinj, and it was absolutely enchanting! Walking through its narrow streets surrounded by medieval walls, we felt the unique atmosphere of this remarkable place. Every corner seemed to tell a story, and the views of the Adriatic Sea were simply breathtaking. We shared our impressions, took photos of the stunning panoramas, and soaked in the charm of this extraordinary town.
On the Way to Velika Plaža
The route itself was both easy and incredibly scenic. As we walked along the coastline, we enjoyed the sound of the waves, the fresh sea breeze, and the vast sandy landscapes. Each step brought us closer not only to nature but also to each other – we laughed, shared stories, and fully embraced the moment.
The Finish Line – Velika Plaža
When we finally reached Velika Plaža, we were greeted by an awe-inspiring sight. Stretching 13 kilometers, this massive sandy beach left us speechless with its vastness and beauty. We took a well-deserved break, strolled along the shore, and some of us couldn’t resist a swim in the warm sea. The sunset that followed was the perfect ending to our journey – the sky was painted in stunning colors, and we simply savored the moment.

This walk was more than just a journey – it was a day of pure connection with nature, a chance to recharge, and an opportunity to enjoy great company. Ulcinj with its history, the coastal route with its stunning views, and Velika Plaža with its unique beauty made this experience truly unforgettable.
