In September 2024, our group embarked on an unforgettable walk along one of the most picturesque stretches of Montenegro’s coastline – the Budva Riviera. The route from Sveti Stefan to Budva turned out to be a true adventure, filled with stunning natural beauty, coastal charm, and memories that will last a lifetime.
Starting Point – Sveti Stefan
Our journey began at the iconic island resort of Sveti Stefan, whose red rooftops and ancient walls are a true symbol of Montenegro. We couldn’t resist snapping a few photos with this breathtaking backdrop while soaking in the fresh sea air. From this point, we set off on a coastal adventure along the Budva Riviera.

Through Villages and Beaches Along the Way
- Pržno – The first village we passed through, with its charming narrow streets, fishing boats, and peaceful atmosphere. The small beach nestled between the cliffs was a beautiful sight.
- Miločer Beach – A serene and secluded spot surrounded by lush greenery. Walking past the famous Miločer Villa and its scenic park felt like stepping into a postcard.
- Kamenovo Beach – One of the most popular beaches on the Riviera. We took a short break here to enjoy the view of the turquoise waters and sandy shore.
- Bečići Beach – A spacious and stunning beach, perfect for relaxation. Its wide shoreline and spectacular views of the open sea left us in awe.
Finish Line – Budva
Budva welcomed us with its lively atmosphere and the historic charm of the Old Town. We ended our walk by exploring the cobblestone streets, ancient walls, and cozy cafes. The contrast between the tranquil beaches and the bustling energy of Budva was the perfect finale to our journey.
Our Reflections
Our route, which took us from Sveti Stefan through Pržno, Miločer, Kamenovo, Bečići, and finally to Budva, showcased the full beauty of the Budva Riviera. Walking, admiring the incredible nature, and sharing the experience with great company made this day truly unforgettable. We swam, soaked in the views, and felt how unique this part of Montenegro truly is.
